Manager, Roscommon Women's Network
Nora Fahy
Nora joined Roscommon Women’s Network in 2007 as its first paid staff member and has played a key role in its growth into a thriving women-centred social enterprise. In 2012, RWN became part of Women’s Collective Ireland , funded by the Department of Justice & Equality, and Nora has since been employed by WCI. She continues to work closely with the RWN Voluntary Board and the WCI Roscommon Advisory Committee to identify local needs and develop supports for women and families across the county. Bringing a strong business management background, Nora has been instrumental in shaping RWN’s evolution.

Social Enterprise Manager, CycleUp Textiles
Jean Sherry
Jean joined CycleUp Textiles as Social Enterprise Manager in September 2025, bringing over 15 years’ experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and social impact delivery. She previously held senior roles with the Economic and Social Research Council, Bangor University, and the University of Leicester. At CycleUp, Jean leads enterprise operations, partnerships, and impact measurement, driving sustainable growth and positive community outcomes. Her leadership blends strategic vision with a strong commitment to social and environmental progress. Jean's role is funded by the Community Services Programme.

Business Development Lead
Aisling Owens
Aisling joined CycleUp Textiles as the full-time Administrator in December 2024, and progressed to the role of Business Development Coordinator in March 2025. With a decade of experience in fashion retail buying, category management and product planning strategy, she has a strong background in growing brands, managing product lifecycles and analysing market trends. Her expertise supports CycleUp’s mission to create high-quality, upcycled items that meet market demand while promoting sustainability. Aisling's role is funded by the EU Just Transition Fund.

Progression and Skills Innovation Lead
Jan Fellows
Jan joined CycleUp Textiles as Progression and Skills Lead in October 2025, bringing extensive experience in HR, people development, and entrepreneurship from her career with the NHS and as the owner of her own fashion boutique in the UK. Formerly a member of the Roscommon Women’s Network Board of Directors, she has long been committed to women’s empowerment and community development. In her role, Jan focuses on training, upskilling, and progression pathways for CycleUp’s team and participants, helping to build confidence, capability, and long-term employability. Her role is funded by the EU Just Transition Fund.

Administrator
Áine Mannion
Áine joined CycleUp Textiles in June 2025 as part-time Administrator, bringing a background in psychiatric nursing and administrative support. After transitioning from healthcare to administration in 2024, she has applied her strong organisational and people skills to support the daily operations of the enterprise. Áine plays a key role in ensuring smooth communication, efficient processes, and a welcoming environment for staff and participants alike. Her role is funded by the EU Just Transition Fund.

Alena Gurn
Alena joined CycleUp Textiles in 2023 as the Production Team Lead, bringing a wealth of experience in dressmaking and garment construction. She oversees the day-to-day running of the production studio, guiding the team in creating high-quality upcycled textile products. With a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship, Alena ensures every piece is made with care, creativity, and sustainability in mind. Her role is funded by the EU Just Transition Fund.

Olena Piankova
Olena joined CycleUp Textiles in 2023 as a Product Creator, bringing a strong background in fashion design and dressmaking. Her technical skill and creativity shine through in the high-quality upcycled pieces she produces. Olena is passionate about sustainable fashion and contributes greatly to CycleUp’s commitment to craftsmanship and circular design. Her role is funded by the Community Services Programme.

Maria Hourigan
Maria began her journey with CycleUp Textiles in 2020 as a volunteer, with no prior sewing experience. Through dedication and hands-on learning, she developed strong skills in sewing and upcycling. Now employed as a Product Creator, Maria plays an important role in the production team, contributing creativity, care, and pride to every piece she makes. Her role is funded by the Community Services Programme.

Ahmad Abo Haileh
Ahmad joined CycleUp Textiles in 2024 as a Product Creator, bringing an exceptional background in tailoring and garment construction. Having previously owned his own tailoring business, he offers extensive expertise, precision, and creativity to the production team. Ahmad’s craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident in every piece he creates, adding depth and quality to CycleUp’s upcycled collections.

Viktoriia Manaienko
Viktoriia joined CycleUp Textiles in January 2025, bringing extensive experience in dressmaking from large-scale manufacturing and factory settings. Her precision, efficiency, and technical expertise make her a key member of the production team. Viktoriia’s work reflects both skill and care, contributing to the consistent quality and professional finish of CycleUp’s upcycled textile products. Her role is funded by the Community Services Programme.

Administrative Assistant
Betina dos Santos
Betina joined CycleUp Textiles in 2025 as an Administrative Assistant, bringing strong experience in retail supervision, customer service, and business administration. She holds a QQI Level 5 qualification in Business Administration and is skilled in bookkeeping, payroll, and digital marketing. With a detail-oriented and proactive approach, Betina supports the smooth running of CycleUp’s operations and contributes to the efficiency and professionalism of the team.

Sewing, Upcycling & Retail Assistant
Nicola Crosby
Nicola first joined CycleUp Textiles in 2023 as an Administrative Assistant before moving to the production team in 2025 to pursue her interest in sewing. She brings creativity, enthusiasm, and strong visual merchandising skills, ensuring the CycleUp shop always looks its best. Nicola plays a key role in both product creation and presentation, combining craftsmanship with an eye for detail and display.

Emer joined CycleUp Textiles in 2022, bringing a degree in Textile Design from the National College of Art and Design. Her background in design and sustainability supports the development of innovative upcycled products and strengthens CycleUp’s creative direction.

She plays an active role in developing and refining new upcycled products, blending creativity with thoughtful, functional design. Derek Fallon
Derek joined CycleUp Textiles in 2025, bringing a strong background in carpentry and woodwork. His craftsmanship and creativity led to the development of CycleUp’s signature upcycled footstools, which combine reclaimed materials with quality design. Derek continues to bring new ideas and practical skill to the production team, expanding the range of handcrafted homeware pieces.

Maria rejoined CycleUp Textiles in 2025, having previously worked with the team as an Administrative Assistant. She is now part of the production studio, contributing to the creation of upcycled products while also leading on product photography for the CycleUp website. Maria’s creativity and attention to detail shine through both in her craftsmanship and in the beautiful imagery that showcases the team’s work.

Laura Bachvarova
Laura joined the Roscommon Women’s Network team in 2020, bringing over 13 years of experience in the banking industry and a diploma in office administration. Employed directly by Women’s Collective Ireland (WCI), funded by the Department of Justice & Equality, she provides vital administrative and financial support across RWN’s projects. Laura’s professionalism and attention to detail help ensure the smooth and efficient running of daily operations.
