Part of Reuse & Repair Week 2026

📍 Riverside Centre, Athleague, Co. Roscommon, F42 K685
📅 Friday 5th June 2026
⏰ Drop in anytime between 2pm–4pm

💶 €5 per person (tea/coffee included)

As part of Reuse & Repair Week 2026, join us at CycleUp Textiles for a relaxed community Repair Café celebrating repair, reuse and practical textile skills.

Bring along one item of clothing or textile in need of a little TLC and drop in anytime between 2pm and 4pm to learn simple mending and repair techniques with guidance from our Production Team Lead, Alena.

Whether it’s a loose seam, missing button, small tear or worn area, we’ll help you explore ways to extend the life of your textiles and keep them in use for longer.

Sewing machines, basic materials and refreshments will be provided.

Please note:

  • This is an informal drop-in style event rather than a structured workshop
  • Participants are welcome to arrive anytime between 2pm and 4pm
  • Please bring one item per person
  • Suitable for basic repairs and mending only
  • This is a guided learning session rather than a repair drop-off service

Reuse & Repair Week is a national initiative encouraging communities across Ireland to rethink waste, repair more, and reuse what we already have.

Come along for a cup of tea or coffee, learn a new skill, and give your clothes and textiles a second life.
